Riverside Bank – McGregor Branch Renovation

This 2,000 SF facility for Riverside Bank of the Gulf Coast was completed in 2001 as remodeling and renovation to an existing bank building which had been vacant for some time. It was the client’s desire that this building should symbolize the strength and stability representative of a successful financial institution while establishing it’s own identity and place within the community. The existing building was fairly stark consisting of white slabs of stucco, with subtle offsets in the planes, and void of any traditional detailed attributes. Through the use of applied cosmetic treatments (i.e. crown molding and decorative banding elements) and soft colors the “White-Box” was transformed into an aesthetically pleasing and architecturally inviting facility which fits into the surrounding neighborhood.
